My Background
I was born with a rare throat disorder and drawing pictures was my main means of successful communication when I was very little. I wandered everywhere with pencils, crayons and paper and learned to enjoy the expression on its own merits. I showed early inclination and interest and took private lessons through school before studying art education in university,

My medium is primarily acrylic, but I occasionally dabble with oils and pastels. I learned oils as a child but was encouraged to switch to acrylics in university and quickly embraced this medium.

I enjoy walking, jogging, hiking and gardening in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by these activities in nature. I love recreating plants, objects, landscapes and occasionally wildlife in my work. I am fascinated by intricate details and colours.
